We have just gotten through the season of Lent and celebrated Easter. It was definitely one of the most unusual Easter celebrations I have ever experienced as we celebrated it from our living rooms. I am a homeschool mom of five children and I wanted to take that time to teach my children about gratitude. I could not find a gratitude journal for children that I wanted so I merged the things I found on the internet into my own creation. It teaches metaphores and similes and other aspects of writing and could be used as a stand alone lesson or incorporated where you like in your curriculum or even by families who do not homeschool. It is designed to be printed and cut in half and I encourage you to have your child design their own cover. They should really make this their own as it can be a keepsake for years to come. Take a look and let me know what you think.
